The Department of Mathematics of the University of the Basque Country (EHU) is pleased to host the 41st International Workshop on Statistical Modelling (IWSM) at the Bizkaia Aretoa, Bilbao, Spain, from Sunday 18th July to Friday 23rd July 2027.

IWSM is the world’s leading workshop dedicated to statistical modelling and one of the main activities of the Statistical Modelling Society. The workshop focuses on novel statistical modelling developments aimed at solving real-world problems. The atmosphere at the workshop is friendly and supportive, and, with no parallel sessions, IWSM offers an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange among all participants.

Submissions to the workshop take the form of 4-page proceedings papers, enabling participants to share their ideas in sufficient detail. All papers are subject to a rigorous review process to ensure high-quality contributions in both the oral and poster sessions. We particularly encourage submissions from postgraduate students and early-career researchers.
